March 2014 – love all things colorful

Finally, the hunt is over. I am overjoyed when the UPS guy dropped a mysterious brown box in front of my door. It was nine hundred days that I had been searching for you. I remember it was love at first site when I spotted the flamboyant Vogue Japan’s editor-at-large Anna Dello Russo wearing you at Milan Fashion week back in 2011. You were so unique and so different. You screamed “look at me!”. So fierce, so different, and so original. I am so excited that you are finally mine. Plus, they were 70% off the original price, which I love. Can’t beat that, right?

Anyway, let’s talk about shoes. These Prada shoes are made of patent leather with laser cuts in the shape of exciting flames. Even though they are wedges with only 4 and half inch heels, they scream to be noticed. Don’t let these babies fool you though, they are a bit hard to walk in as they don’t have a platform. So, basically I walk on a true 4 and half inch arch (like walking on tip-toes). I notice that my feet tend to slide forward. After an hour walking around the Hyatt lobby I’m looking for some flats.
